In my opinion, nofx did nothing good since "so long.." and even before that, "Heavy Petting Zoo" was really bad.I'll listen to the new album wishing to find again what made them great on "ribbed" or "white trash".

I like Heavy Petting Zoo, full of great melodies.

I like Valuum and Errorism aswell. And the 22-23 song comp. Anything after that is bland though.
"Look at your life, cause I am sorry but that is it. And you think you're better off this way. But I think it's sad that you can't see. And you think it's better off this way but when the pleasure fades one day, where will you turn and where will you run? When it's all through and there's no more fun will there be time to turn it around? When you look up and ask Him will you be too late or be found?"

I always thought Heavy Petting Zoo was the best record.Like Andre said it had the best melodies and emotional songs like Release the hostages or Drop the World.
Btw,Am I the only one that thinks that NOFX kinda changed their style after So Long?

actually i didn't like "Coaster" i hardly ever listen to it ...but besides that there are always some really good songs on every record that i really enjoy.

also their last songs from "Cookie The Clown" and the split with the Spits where somewhat promising in my opinion.

looking forward to the new album!!!

Well, I think the last time I listened to Heavy Petting Zoo was around 1997, but still have the cd somewhere, i'll try it again to see if I still dislike this one. If I remember well Fat Mike himself thought this album was weird :)

Personally, Pump up the valuum is one of my favorite. I also really like Punk In Drublic, never really listened to the old ones like maximum rock 'n roll and ribbed... I wasn't a big fan of war on errorism but for some reasons I really enjoyed wolves in wolves clothing
Anyway, there is something good on every album they make!

i did not enjoy wolves at all.

Ribbed up to errorism is what I listen to.

Heavy Petting Zoo has some of their best song´s ever, yet some of their worst too. It´s the most peculiar NOFX release i think, along with Wolves., but both are great for me....Wolves would be greater it hasn´t so many songs.

Personal favs. are Ribbed, White Trash and Errorism.

We should do a NOFX greatest hits.
