I'm surprised TIAS gets a spot, since I thought that EP was pretty bland. so many better releases this year.

And you think it's better off this way but when the pleasure fades one day, where will you turn and where will you run? When it's all through and there's no more fun will there be time to turn it around? When you look up and ask Him will you be too late or be found?"

Not surprised mute won, killer album. Although I really love state of unrest as well, two best skatepunk albums of 2011!

HAhahahaha, I'll say it again. Mute doesn't get to me, I'm not giving them another chance :)
It's great to seem my favorite band Jet Market up there. It's really amazing. The rest of the bands are amazing :)

Grats to the winners. I don't know why but I'm not surprised to see Mute as the #1 as opposed to Heartsounds being #3.

But for me Chief wins it all ! Such an amazing album, I can't recall the number of times it spins in my car and played on my iPhone.

you're welcome ;)

also i'm surprised to see Heartsounds ranked this high ...it's a good album, no doubt ...but Frenzal Rhomb and Jet Market put out albums that are WAAAAAAAAY better. but then again, the majority has spoken ;)

I agree, Heartsounds deserves to be lower in my opinion. But it's ok.

As for Chief and Jet Market, I prefer Frenzal, ALG, and Mute 100x more because they're more melodic. At a more 'hardcore' blog you might find those releases rated higher.

WOAH. Jet Market not melodic? I'm guessing all you heard was Perdition? Please do us all a favor and just sit down and listen to the entire Sparks Against Darkness. You'll know what I mean. Probably the best album I've heard in my life, next to STWB. Trust me, that's a bigg thing xD
