This is my favourite trallpunk band. As the vocals are the same of Skumdum, it always reminds me to their early stuff!

Trallpunk (Swedish for 'melodious punk') is a subgenre of punk music specially developed in Sweden. It is known for its fast drums, a melodic sound, and often politically-oriented lyrics. Generally, Asta Kask[1] and Strebers are considered to be the first trallpunk bands,[citation needed] but opinions diverge on the matter. During the 1990s, trallpunk saw increased popularity, particularly due to the club Kafé 44 in Stockholm and the band De Lyckliga Kompisarna (The Happy Friends).

Today, trallpunk is represented through bands such as Varnagel, Slutstation Tjernobyl, Greta Kassler, and De Lyckliga Kompisarna[2]. Internationally, bands like Rasta Knast and Takahashi Gumi[3] are examples.

I voted for their new album as "album of the year 2010" on skatepunkers. Truly awesome band! They remind me of old Skumdum songs, too, but they're still different and that accordion at the beginning of "Faller Du?" is just epic ;) .

Such a great band!

Faller Du? reminds me a lot of Radioaktiva Räker.
"Look at your life, cause I am sorry but that is it. And you think you're better off this way. But I think it's sad that you can't see. And you think it's better off this way but when the pleasure fades one day, where will you turn and where will you run? When it's all through and there's no more fun will there be time to turn it around? When you look up and ask Him will you be too late or be found?"

I had the chance to listen to the new album and shit, WAY better than the previous one. Better vocals and much faster. 11 songs, 9 fast.

it means "Like A Bad Movie", in the meaning of "in the form of a bad movie" or "as a bad movie" not like in the way of "liking a bad movie"

Thanks! By the way, as you are swedish: Are the Lastkaj 14 lyrics worth a read, or just funny/stupid (like Not Available)? I dont understand a word but I can try translating them. I've always been curious to know how is the writing of this band is.

it's pretty politcal, not a lot of stupid songs... Pierre's a rather good lyric writer.
