Money Left to Burn

Postby RebukePete » Nov 26th, '11, 18:23

...is a fucking great German skatepunk band, that sound pretty much like old Lagwagon mixed with old Pennywise, so they have a real classic sound going on. my band played with these guys in Nuremberg without ever having heard of them before, and were blown away.

official blag;
"MONEY LEFT TO BURN from Nuremberg, Germany was created in summer 2010 by Andi (ex-Not For Sale), Marshall (Ex-Nineteen Reasons), Jonny (Save The Embers), Andy (ex-Good & cheap) and Alex (ex-The Phony Mc ring ring). The common idea was to bring uncompromising punk rock somewhere between old-and new-school, between skateboarding and social criticism, between brute power chords and detail-oriented guitar riffs.

In 2011 they released their first 6-song-EP "Sucker".

i'll try to upload the EP when i can

awesome man. when Pete likes a band, I'm pretty sure it's gonna be good.
"Look at your life, cause I am sorry but that is it. And you think you're better off this way. But I think it's sad that you can't see. And you think it's better off this way but when the pleasure fades one day, where will you turn and where will you run? When it's all through and there's no more fun will there be time to turn it around? When you look up and ask Him will you be too late or be found?"

Hey guys, this is Alex from Money Left To Burn. Thanks for posting our EP! And thanks for the props everybody, it's cool that you like our stuff! :)

We don't have an online shop but you can order the CD by writing us at moneyleft2burn@gmx.de. But your're right, we should add a note on our facebook page, I'll do that right away.

Btw: Pete, we're trying to get a show for you guys in April. Would be a blast! :)
And Danny, move your asses back to Nuremberg, we had an awesome time in October!

Cheers!

As Danny and Pete said - these guys are really nice lads, great partyboys and awesome band hehe :) We had one of the greatests times of our tour in their practice room no doubt!

Interesting fact :D Those four guys in front of the camera are members of Egos at the door.

If any of you missed it, here's my interview with Money Left To Burn, in their practice room, back in August when I was in Europe.

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2111 (post)

http://www.thegrindprc.ca/SHOWS/138.html (download/stream)

In the practice room, while conducting the interview, there were the guys from Save the Embers and Phil from Defy the Laws of Tradition + more friends so it was a fun time with interruptions ha ha. Embers/Defy are also featured in that interview.

Enjoy!
