ASADO

Forged in the frozen wastelands of Winnipeg MB, Asado brings forth a brand of punk rock that is uniquely their own. Armed with their powerful signature voice, punishing rhythm section and remarkably tight twin guitar attack, their music is a breath of fresh air in a world ruled by cookie monster 1 note breakdowns and cock rock radio garbage.

Rob Daniels: vocals
Jason Krahn: guitars
Dave Lemieux: guitar
Eric Sigurdson: bass
Steve Jowsey: drums (no longer in band)

The old album is great. I love how did the drum sound on that release

Asado... it gets crazy good reviews from everyone. The voice is alright and the instrumental work is great, but it's missing that something that puts it in my favorites.

Maybe its the melodies? Something about this album doesn't resonate with me.

for me, i remember at the time i bought the cd, i didn't really know the band but ive heard/read so much good things bout it that i was convinced to buy it.....when i start listening it....it was like...euh ok, it's ok but not what i was thinking it was going to be....so after 2-3 listening i stop listening it for a time.i don't remember why but i decided one day to retry this cd and i don't know why but i fall in love with this cd and now it one of my favourite record of the last decade!so it's possible you will not love it but give it another try perhaps you will change your mind about this cd!

So much class on their skatepunk. Also, the vocals are awesome, I really like the roughness of it.

I don't care about waiting as long as I get another album from them.
The first one was soooo good.
I really like "Don't tell us what we should put in our bellies, you filthy bastards"
This reference to Satanic Surfers made me curious and that's how I got into this band.
