One Shot Left is a Canadian skatepunk/punk rock/alternative rock band from Medicine Hat, Alberta that was founded in 1995. In 1998 they were signed by Meter Records, an still running independent record label from Calgary, Alberta (http://www.meterrecords.com/), that same year they toured Western Canada and released six of their songs on the Meter Records 3-way-split "Wet Feet" (together with Darryl's Grocery Bag & Guilttrip). Two years later they released their debut album "Something To Be Reckoned With" and subsequently toured Western Canada again, this time together with Guilttrip. In April 2001 they headed off for their first national tour. One Shot Left's second full-lenght "Restitution" was released in 2005. It earned some good reviews in the press and the opener "The Night Falls (On Wicked Little Ninjas)" even reached #2 on Punk Radio Cast's Top 40. In 2008 the band played some shows in Medicine Hat and Calgary for Meter Record's 10th anniversary (this is were the above picture is from).

The OSL song "taken away" from the Wet Feet compilation sounds A LOT like Choke

I'd definitely start with Needless To Say. Then move to Foreword.

Hey! I recently got into Strung Out for the first time, so I had a lot to listen to, but I just downloaded Choke's "Lotion", "Give'er", "needless To Say" and "Foreword". I'm gonna start with Needless To Say tonight!

I saw you could buy or download the Guilttrip full-lenght on CDBaby (http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/guilttrip), unfortunately, I couldn't find a free DL link either...

Hey!

I listened to "Needless To Say", "Give'er" and Lotion. I liked Needless to say A LOT, but I liked Give'er even better. All their songs on those two albums are really short, but I do not mind at all, I really like the guitars, they have some surprising tech parts, but still sound rough and totally 90s. I also like the vocals, as they aren't to much "in fornt". What I found kind of weird is that their first album Lotion seems to have a better production than "Give'er".

About Choke, I love Slow fade, haven't listened to the others much. But I understand that album is not skatepunk at all so it's kind of weird to start with if your looking for skatepunk stuff haha
